We are delighted to be taking part in Agroforestry Open Weekend 2023

Our Farm
Our farm is 100 acres and includes 5 nascent enterprises: market garden, farmhouse rentals, livestock (a small herd of beef cows), agroforestry and a tree nursery.
Our agroforestry
We started the initial planting in March last year but most got underway this planting season. The current agroforestry consists of 3 fields: one is planted with walnuts and pears (with soft fruit in between) and the others are cobnut and plum and cobnut and something else (we haven’t decided what the something else is yet!).

The three fields are around 15 acres in total but are part of the overall strategy of the farm to develop diverse enterprises that complement one another. Our box scheme customers will also, in due course, be our fruit and nut customers.
