We are delighted to be taking part in Agroforestry Open Weekend 2024
Our farm

When Riverford founder, Guy Singh-Watson, began the process of handing the Riverford business over to its employees he, along with his wife, restaurant entrepreneur Geetie Singh-Watson, brought Baddaford Farm. On this 150-acre farm, nestled in a steep-sided valley, Guy still grows veg for Riverford. Many of the perennials grown are familiar to veg box customers; strawberries, artichokes, rhubarb etc. but in recent years a system of nut agroforestry has been introduced across the farm.

Our agroforestry

In 2021 Baddaford was planted up with 2,500 hazel and walnut trees as part of a new silvo-pasture system across 25 acres of steep, south-facing land.
